Lampy DMX Tools ("the App") is developed and operated by Tijn Coertjens / Rhythm Productions ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects minimal data to function and improve. Specifically:

• Usage Analytics (Firebase): We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, such as which tools you use, feature interactions, and general app performance. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. Firebase may collect device-level identifiers (such as an Advertising Identifier / IDFA) for analytics purposes. You can reset or limit this via your device's Privacy settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
• Advertising (AdMob): The App displays banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information and use your Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, depending on your device's tracking preferences. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), only non-personalized ads are served by default unless consent is given via an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• Local Network Access (sACN Monitor): The sACN Monitor feature joins multicast UDP groups on your local network to receive lighting control data. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this network data. It stays entirely on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To improve the App: Analytics help us understand which features are most used and where we can improve.
• To display ads: AdMob uses device identifiers to serve ads and measure their performance.
• To diagnose issues: Crash reports and performance data help us fix bugs.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us:

• App preferences (selected region, converter settings, grid layout).

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase (analytics and crash reporting) — Google Privacy Policy

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by entertainment industry professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can delete it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you (if any).
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (e.g., tracking via App Tracking Transparency).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Data Retention

Analytics data collected via Firebase is retained according to Google's standard data retention policies (typically 14–26 months for event-level data). Data stored locally on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data via iOS Settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
